- Professional skills: The professional skills that I have gained in the ECE program are healthy/effective communication, teamwork/collaboration skills, to have an open mind when new ideas are presented, how to be assertive in a respectful and effective way, and how to resolve conflict in a positive way at work.
- Practical Skills: The practical skills that I have gained in the ECE program are time management in a daycare, how to create a moment into a lesson for the children, the ability to build strong connections with children, to be available for the children to talk to for their need (emotional or physical), to make sure everything is cleaned effectively, and to ensure that everything is up to standard for licensing.
